Print Advert Analysis:
Newspapers:
The advert has been made simply by adding big and bold text with a couple images around to get the viewer's attention. They used the image of a Minion and another image and made it glow around the objects to enhance it. The editors have used simple colours such as white, yellow, and black so it's legible.
The advert is placed on the top right corner of the page so the reader can read it first once they flip the page.
The editors inserted the headline 'Black Friday' to attract the reader. Then, they inserted the phrase 'SAVE £1,500' in bold words to get the reader's attention because that is a lot of money you're saving. The main text tells us that the customers will be saving a ton of money when they buy the products.
This advert is targeted at adults with little money to spend.
One thing they could change is to change the images and add images that relate to what they're talking about.
Magazines:
This advert creatively combines a product photo with thematic effects. The use of snowflakes aligns with the 'Cold Wash' theme, while water splash images signify its use in washing machines. Vibrant colours like blue, orange, and yellow enhance the visual appeal and grab the reader's attention. Overall, it effectively communicates the product's features with thematic coherence and visual allure.
The advert is placed on the whole page.
The advert is crafted to create a consistent message by portraying that you can save energy by using cold water and by using the product. The headline is 'Cold Wash'. This instantly grabs the reader's attention because washing your clothes with cold water saves a lot of energy and money and it would be useful for a cold wash detergent. The main text tells us that the product can be used in cold water which is very convenient. The text relates to the images because the ice and the water show that they were used in cold water.
Adults with children would most likely buy this item because they might be doing a lot of laundry.
In my opinion is very effective because this can help someone who might be looking for a good detergent.
Primary and Secondary Research:
Packaging Designer Research:
The brand that inspired my package design: Cokacolla
Describe the history/background and how they/it evolved over time
Coca-Cola bottles have evolved over time, from the Hutchinson bottles (1886-1900) to the iconic contour bottle (1916-present). Transitions included straight-sided bottles and various designs. Changes in materials and labelling occurred, from embossed script to painted designs, ACL labels, and plastic PET bottles. Special and limited edition bottles were also introduced. Recently, the focus has shifted towards sustainable packaging with plant-based plastics and increased use of recycled materials.

Images I could use:
Website:
https://victorianadineayre.wixsite.com/my-site-4
This is my website for Fruit Burst. It contains the products I'll be selling. I made a very vague plan which I did follow but there wasn't enough information. I used the website wix.com to create my own website. I used a template to give me a boost then I customised it. There was some problems I had to overcome when it came to inserting my products and changing the original images from the templates to my own images. What went well about this website is the images I used were well. Overall, I'm not very happy about the website because it's not entirely finished and there is a lot of important things missing like the 'About Me' page.
